This app allows you to browse street level map of Brussels when you are traveling. You dont need to have internet connection for this to work as the map is stored on your iPhone or iPod Touch. Ideal for saving roaming charges or having to find the local wifi to access the built-in map application.

You can pinch to zoom in and out of the map just like you can with the built-in map application.

We are currently building and field testing support for GPS and this will be released as a free update soon. Stay tuned.

Latest reviews of Brussels Offline Street Map app for iPhone and iPad

Serg
Awful. It does not want to magnify the map (otherwise you will not see all streets names). I couldnt find a way from central station to the hotel because of this.
Almost useless
The zooming function zooms less map than visible at highest levels... The points on the border are as such unusable...
Essentially useless
I feel like Im missing something with this app, besides 4.99. It says it doesnt have location capability up front, but shouldnt I be capable of "to and from" type searches if the 2 destination are within the boundaries of the map? Many steets arent named, and what do some of the icons symbolize? As far as I can tell, theres no interactivity at all, even when I Am in a wifi area. Very poorly done, especially for the $.
Text taken directly from wiki travel?
In reading the content in this app, we compared it to some wiki travel printouts and a great deal seemed word for word! Are the creators of this just taking info from folks who contribute to wiki travel and benefitting from it? Not to mention we were hoping for some original content...and, what are the standards for possible plagiarism from a wiki site? Map pinching to zoom does NOT work and its not a fully offline app as you have to separately download PDFs of metro, etc maps.
As a map ok
As just an offline map, the app was ok. The GPS function was pretty much useless when I was on Brussels and no info on any sites or anything. Better off using Google Maps in cached mode.
